1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Brahmaki website and any purchase from our online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply to new orders only. Existing orders are covered by the terms in place when you ordered.

2. Products & Pricing

Our pieces are made-to-order using sustainably certified fabrics. As each piece is crafted individually, slight variations in colour, texture, and pattern may occur. These are not considered defects.

Prices include VAT where applicable. We may adjust prices at any time, but confirmed orders are always honoured at the original price.

3. Orders & Payment

Your order is confirmed once payment is processed and you receive an order confirmation by email. We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna (where available).

We may cancel an order in cases of suspected fraud or if a product is no longer available. If this happens, you'll receive a full refund within 14 days.

4. Made-to-Order & Pre-Orders

Most of our pieces are made-to-order based on your selected size and height. Production usually takes 2-3 weeks, after which your piece is shipped to you. If you choose our premium production and shipping option at checkout, your piece is made and delivered sooner. The estimated delivery time for each option is shown at checkout.

For pre-orders, the date shown on the product page is when the fabric is expected to arrive at our atelier. Production starts once the fabric arrives, and delivery follows after production and shipping. All timelines are estimates.

Because each piece is made to your specifications, we may not be able to cancel an order once production has begun. If you'd like to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible at order@brahmaki.com.

5. Returns

You have 30 days from receiving your order to return your piece. Pieces made to your selected size, height or length can be returned. Pieces customised beyond our standard options - for example, to individual shoulder, chest, waist or hip measurements - are made specifically for you and are not eligible for return.

Consumers in the EU also have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receiving the goods. Our 30-day return window is more generous and runs alongside it. The statutory right does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s own specifications or clearly personalised, which is why pieces customised beyond our standard options cannot be returned.

To start a return, contact us at return@brahmaki.com with your order details. Pieces must be returned in their original condition, unworn and with all tags attached.

Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned piece, using the original payment method.

6. Faulty or Damaged Pieces

If we made a mistake, we take responsibility for it.

Please contact us if your piece is damaged, has a manufacturing fault, is not the item, size, colour or specification you ordered, or does not match the measurements or specifications confirmed for your order.

We may ask for photographs or measurements so we can understand what has happened and find the right solution.

Because Brahmaki pieces are tailored by hand, small variations can naturally occur. Where relevant, our Size & Measurement Guide explains the tolerances applicable to different measurements.

If the piece is faulty or does not conform to the order confirmed with you, we will resolve the issue at no cost to you.

The solution may include repair, alteration, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Damage or shrinkage resulting from care that does not follow the provided care instructions is not considered a product fault and is not covered as a faulty-item return or claim.

7. Shipping

Shipping methods, costs, and estimated delivery times are detailed on our Shipping & Returns page. Risk passes to you once the order is delivered to your address.

8. Promotions & Gift Cards

Discount codes are valid for the period and on the terms stated at issue. Unless otherwise stated, codes cannot be combined, are single-use, and may not apply to pre-order or sale pieces. Gift cards are valid for the period stated at purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, designs, and logos, belongs to Brahmaki and is protected by copyright. Use without our written consent is not permitted.

10. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Force Majeure

We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, such as transport disruptions, supplier delays, or government measures. We'll keep you informed and do our best to fulfil your order as soon as possible.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price of the product in question. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms affects those rights.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a complaint, you can refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden, arn.se. If you live in another EU country, your local European Consumer Centre can advise you on cross-border complaints.

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
